There are five major note taking methods: the Cornell method, the outlining method, the charting method, the mind mapping method and the sentence method. With the mind mapping method, you create a visual diagram of your notes by drawing associations between a central idea and related themes, details and thoughts. In this video, learn how you can use Bamboo Spark to sketch a mind map, upload to the Wacom Cloud and edit your notes using color, shapes and text on the Bamboo Paper app. Also compatible with Evernote, Dropbox and other note taking apps.
- Turn Bamboo Spark on.
- Open Bamboo Spark notebook and press the center button.
- Rotate Bamboo Spark to a landscape position to begin drawing notes.
- Start by writing a central idea or concept in the center of the page.
- Create branches that represent themes associated with the main idea.
- Continue to add details of lesser importance as twigs on the branches.
- Connect ideas, thoughts, keyword associations, drawings and color to add emphasis.
- Push center button to send to Bamboo Spark notes app.
- Export as WILL file and select Bamboo Paper app.
- File will automatically open in Bamboo Paper app.
- Edit by adding colors, drawings, shapes or text.
- Export via email, Dropbox, Evernote or another compatible note taking app.
